THE SKERRIT FACTOR – SECRET EMPIRE Part 3

THE SKERRIT FACTOR

Mr. Alexis rants and raves “ALL IS MINE” but there is no evidence to support that self serving rush to render judgment and close the book. Indeed all the evidence to this point clearly indicates that Mr. Alexis does not stand alone as the owner of Blaircourt Properties and is acting on behalf of other interests which he has so far refused to disclose

Most of the rumours that have been floating around Portsmouth for years now in connection with the alleged business relationship between Roosevelt Skerrit and Renneth Alexis have been vindicated by the facts

Mr. Alexis has even given the public a possible reason why he may not want to disclose Roosevelt Skerrit’s interest in Blaircourt; even if there was an interest… he says the Prime Minister’s name has the effect of tarnishing business concerns and destroying reputations:

It is more than just passing strange that in the wake of heightened public interest over questions as to whether or not he has an interest in the Blaircourt business, Roosevelt Skerrit has deliberately ignored the people of Dominica for more than ten days

Mr. Skerrit nonetheless chose to make some non-specific, clichéd responses to an obviously unprepared, uninformed reporter from the Caribbean Media Corporation in one of those dolly house media engagements set up by well placed handlers:

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC –Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has responded to recent corruption and other charges leveled against his Dominica government, saying he will not be distracted from his primary focus.

“Our primary focus right now is on the Dominica economy and being mindful and vigilant of the global crisis and the effects that it has on Dominica,” Skerrit told the Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC) during a visit to Barbados this week.

He also dismissed recent allegations by the president of the main opposition United Workers Party (UWP) Edison James who had challenged the Prime Minister to clear up allegations that he owns several properties across the island.

Skerrit said that allegations were a deliberate election ploy being used by the opposition in the hope of winning over the electorate.

However, Skerrit has sought to warn that such a strategy simply would not work while challenging the opposition to bring forward any serious evidence of corruption and lay it before the country’s Integrity Commission.

Something is clearly amiss with the mysteries surrounding the operations of Blaircourt Property Development Ltd, and the clandestine corporate conduct of its directors. We see blatant concealment of material facts and truth about ownership for no rhyme or reason… we see cash falling from the skies like the proverbial manna from heaven… we see mind boggling wealth accumulation completely unconnected to any no known legitimate income stream… we see heroic attempts to prostitute professed Christian values and self proclaimed integrity with perverted arguments in defense of skullduggery.

We see mortal fear of truthful disclosure.

And so having called in the past on the DPP, the police, the Integrity Commission, the President, the Attorney General to pursue their prevention of corruption responsibilities without fear or favour… we now invoke the provisions of section 518 of the Companies Act # 21 of 1994 through which the registrar is empowered to petition the court for an order to investigate the operations of companies in the public interest.

Especially in these days of concerted global action to clamp down on corruption in government and the scourge on money laundering, there can be no question that investigation of the confounding operations of Blaircourt Property Development Limited is an absolute public interest necessity at this time.

In my experience where there is no clear option it is said the best thing is to do nothing, and those mentioned appear to be ustilising this do nothing say nothing attitude, this method has been used by criminals throughout history, however as history has demonstarted truth always emerges when they don't want it to.

to speak claiming absolute ownwership was not clever at all. as has been been already witnessed and those total ownership claims will do nothing more than to invoke avid interest, raise more questions, which will lead to the truth, and that is why nothing is being said. and by saying nothing only serves to convince guilt in any ones right mind-

The blue chip team are to be congratulated on the collation thus far of clear evidence to warrant a full investigation into the matter, for you may be assured there will be a lot more to discover and I wish them well in their endeavours. to those suspected I profer this advice, come clean now and you may earn a small ammount, a very small ammount of forgiveness but the powers that be will decide on the result of the investigation the punnisments that fit any offence that is yet to be discovered, should there actually be any, but silence is only making it a lot worse pointing to the conclusion that there is a lot to hide

Good Point Jeremy. They won't respond because they can only tell a lie. So they will stay quiet..but not for long my friend. I am close enough to this investigation to know, that it won't be long again before the clear and silent option is revealed. stay blessed

Hi Denbow I am given to understand that TONY is seeking medical assistance, I personally feel however that as an officer of the court he is begining to feel more than a little nervous and clearly embarassed at some of the things he has stated about the Skerrit administration, I am minded of the drivel stated over the bin bobol the silly phone calls. the deliberate defamation of people who's political stance differ form the Skerrit camp.

In my mind I think the man has has enough, everyone has a breaking point and I think he is lying low hoping it will all go away. from what I am given to understand about this man is that he is a survivor and in order to be a survivor he must realise that he could very likely end up being nothing more than a scpaegoat and a loser carrying on the way he has for such a bad bunch who masquerade under the cloak of respectability of high office.

So he is lying low keeping his head down and if I am not mistaken distancing himself from "Ali Bab oh sorryI meant to say the honourable gentlemen in the Skerrit camp

It will be very easy to get my vote next elections. I have decided to vote for any honest political party who can give Dominicans the firm commitment that upon assuming office, Roosevelt Skerrit and his band of gangsters will be investigated and persecuted to the full extent of the law. Skerrit is to [edited] This nonsense must stop now.
