There are no checks and balances like an Executive Branch or an Independant Judiciary, or an Independant Parliament. Really speaking Dominica's system of government is in fact a sham democracy, where the members of the Vielle Casse constituiency nominated Skerrit the labour party paying mebers appointed him party chief and a few thousand people (say 75% of the electorate of the constituency) made him Prime Minister. In his position he has ultimate power and like Patrick John it will go to his head and things will get much worse (just anothe egomaniac know it all like most politicians. Liverpool has no power he is pupit that can be replaced on a whim by Skerrit. You need to change the system of goverment to one more like the one in France or Israel.
