His comments are a matter of public record and available for all to hear on the net. They were said in the context that Dominica was doing so well because of its fiscal policy and prudent management of the country during the melt down, that it could afford to give money , not credfit to other countries. He said "....we had to give to the Government of Anguilla some 12 million dollars because things are difficult in Anguillla " He continued we "took our money from the ECCB to give to Anguillla."He continues " In the month of n August 2009 we gave 24 million of our money at the ECCB to Antigua...." These statements may have been said in heat of political rally but they clearly do not represent the truth of the situation as Mr. Astaphan has pointed out. No wonder the other political leaders took offence. Mr. Astaphan needs to accept when a mistake has been made whether intentionally or otherwise and stop speaking to Dominicans as if they are fools.
