The recent election held in Dominica on December 18th 2009 was indeed an education. Years and months leading up to the elections we heard former supporters of the ruling DLP severing ties with the DLP administration for numerous reasons ranging from corruption to government incompetence. We even witness government minister Ambrose George fired twice by deceased PM Pierre Charles and once by current PM Roosevelt Skerrit. We heard from leading DLP activists Saverin McKenzie, Athie Martin, Gabriel Christian, and Samuel Christian and in recent times Floyd Capitoleh. All of these gentlemen were singing the same song; The DLP administration led by Roosevelt Skerrit was corrupt to the core and it was clear to them that they were in office to enrich themselves.
